Abstract

|
Objective : This study conducted a review for examining rehabilitation for the schizophrenics in Korea. This review provides evidence concerning the effectiveness of rehabilitation in mental health.
Method : We reviewed that cases of rehabilitation for the chronic schizophrenics through studies of literature, which is a basis that offers rehabilitation for schizophrenics.
Results : Studies on effective intervention to facilitate many functions included self-awareness, cognition, occupational performance capacities, quality of life to have to be conducted.
Conclusion : This study identified the interventions predicting many functions in person with schizophrenia and emphasized the necessity of effective rehabilitation programs. The future study needs to focus on validating the effectiveness of various rehabilitation programs relevant to many functions for people with schizophrenia.
